A set of prop reproductions from the film Metropolis (Fritz Lang, 1927)
* Prop money. It is based on the original piece conserved in the Deutsche Kinemathek, and also in different online sources and film stills. I have designed three banknotes, with values of 100, 500 and 1000 metropolis money.
They have the UFA logo, along with the signature of the production team, including Fritz alg and Thea von Harbou.
* Map of the catacombs. I have used the original design from film, that shows a paper map glued to a piece of cloth. This was a common way to preserve maps, as the fold wouldn't get damaged.
* Yoshiwara Flyer. I find this prop very interesting, because it presents a distinctive graphic design style from the late twenties.
*Josaphat card. It is also based on the design from the film.
